New Diabetic Precertification Requirements for Oxford Members
Effective July 1, 2013, new precertification requirements will be implemented for Oxford fully insured members in New York and Connecticut who use certain non-preferred diabetes medications and test strips.

Commission change for Oxford NY Small Business
Beginning 1/1/13, Oxford will lower their commission structure to 3% for all new groups with 50 and under eligible employees. In addition, groups upon renewal on or after 1/1/13, will also change to 3% commission.

Changes for NJ Small Group (2-50) Oxford Products
Oxford is streamlining their portfolio and adding a new POS Flex HSA plan. The new portfolio will be available for new business eff 11/1/12, and renewal as of 12/1/12. Groups will be notified of withdrawn plans at renewal.

MLR Rebates for Oxford Customers
Per PPACA, clients eligible for rebates are to receive the checks from the carriers on or before 8/1. Oxford is paying back rebates for NY and NJ fully insured LARGE group customers. Policyholders will be notified 3-5 days after checks are mailed.

Exclusive Plan is now available for NJ Large (51+) Groups
Oxford Exclusive Plan is now available for quoting for new and renewing large (51+) groups, with an effective date of 8/1/12. Exclusive Plan is a new, low cost, in-network only health benefit plan built to meet the budget needs of clients.
