Denatl Fee Schedule updated effective March 2012
Effective March 1, 2012, Horizon has increased the amount their particpating dentists can bill for services. The attached has a link where you review the revised fee schedule. Members may pay more out of pocket when using their dental benefits.

Electronic Billing is now available for your clients
Horizon announces that clients can register today for electronic billing. By doing so invoices will be emailed to your client and they can search the bill for added ease. Clients will need their group # and account #, to register.

Lipitor formulary changes
Effective 6/1/12, generic Lipitor, called atorvastatin, will be available as a Tier 1 drug on Horizon's formulary. Brand name Lipitor will be made a non-preferred drug and placed on Tier 3.

Horizon opens a retail center in Moorestown, NJ where members can walk in and get face-to-face interaction and support from Horizon. Teams members will help members get most of their plan, learn about wellness programs and purchase individual plans.

Request for 2011 Group Size information for MLR reporting
Per PPACA, carriers must issue rebates for small employer groups if the carrier cannot maintain an 80-85% MLR ratio. In order to determine who is eligible, carriers must have accurate group size information.

Horizon 2012 New Business bonus program
Effective with May 1st, effective dates, Horizon will issue out a $75 per contract bonus for all medical new business days through 2012 sales year. This is a bonus which will be paid to the GA but will be passed on to the sub-producer.

Church Plan Status and Inactive Group attestations for potential MLR rebates
