Changes to Small Group Billing Frequency
In an effort to streamline its business, all small groups (2-50) will be billed on a monthly basis. This change will made prior to the group's renewal date and before group is converted to an ACA compliant plan. Sample letter is included.

SBC Distribution Guide
This guide reviews the rules regarding SBC distribution for both employers and brokers. Horizon will distribute SBC's to all fully insured groups 2-50 (one time in 11/2012) and 51+ (at renewal). It is up to broker or employer to distribute.

MA Reform Law - Minimum Coverage Level Attestation Form
Massachusetts reform law requires all adult residents have a minimum level of creditable health insurance. Carriers are required to provide a 1099-HC form to MA residents. Affected members MUST complete & return attestation form by 11/1/12.

Horizon advises that they will provide SBC's to all 51+ size clients at initial install or at anniversary upon request. It is still up to employer to distribute.
