Changes to Individual Portfolio effective August 2012
Effective 8/1/12, to affect new and existing individual business, Oxford will be withdrawing 2 PPO plans. Members will receive notice of the withdrawl, and will be mapped t o alternative plan. Sample letter included in release.

Important changes to IBC’s Individual plans
IBC to increase rates to their MUW Individual products effective 7/1/12. This increase was filed with the state and will affect HMO members who have entered new age bracket since 7/2011 or will enter as of 7/2012. Members letters to be mailed in May.

Oxford goes mobile!
Oxford Health Plans introduces a mobile version of their website which will go live 4/16/12. Members will have access to benefit coverage, claim details, requesting ID cards, and searching for providers; all from their smartphone.

Underwood Memorial Hospital’s behavioral health program no longer in-network
Effective May 1, 2012, Underwood Memorial's mental health contract with Oxford will expire. While considered an in-network facility for other services, Underwood will be considered out-of-network for inpatient psychiatric services.

Update regarding Network Participation for Deborah Heart and Lung Center
In February we were advised of the contract termination of this facility from the Oxford/UHC network effective March 15, 2012. They are still in negotiations and this notice advises of another set of letters being sent to group HMO members.

UHC/Oxford are still in negotiations with Deborah Heart & Lung Center. If a new contract cannot be reached, effective March 15, 2012, this provider will be considered out of network for both Oxford and UHC.

April 2002 renewal packages - missing information
Oxford advises us that their 4/1/12 renewal packages SENT TO BROKERS (does not affect the client version) for their NY and NJ small group (2-50) business, was missing a few items. NJ did not include the Small Business Tax Credit flier.

Changes for Groups Enrolling in Oxford Small Group Products
Oxford announced in 2011 that they were making enhancements to their online account maintenance system called IDEA. They are in the final stages now and are advising us that we must now enter participation requirements online with required paperwork

January 2012 Prescription Drug Lists Now Available
January 2012 Oxford Traditional and Advantage Prescription Drug lists (PDL) are now available. All Fully insured groups use the Advantage PDL. Some public sector groups will access the Traditional PDL.

Capital Health System leaves Oxford network eff February 2012
Despite negotiations, Capital Health Systems (for mental health and substance abuse services) has decided not to renew their Oxford contract and will be considered out of network effective Feb 1, 2012. They are still in-network for other services.

Revised Billing Statements
Oxford advising that recent client invoices had correct total amounts but some amounts in "current premium" column may have been blank. The system error has been identified and correct, revised statements will be mailed to clients.

New Preventative Care Guidelines Website for members
Oxford unveils a new Preventative Care website. It will not replace the current member site, but will enhance it by helping members take advantage of all the preventative services that are coevred at 100% as part of health care reform.
