Aetna announces that for all groups written or renewing 12/1/12 and forward, "dispense as written" rules will be imposed. Member will pay brand copay and difference in cost, if generic is available and brand is dispensed.

Specialty Injectible Rx list for 2012
Listing of specialty injectible Rx which fall under the 4th tier for Aetna's Rx card under their plans for 2-99 market. Be advised, upon renewal or for new business as of 8/1/12, the Specialty Rx is now a flat $250 and no longer 10% coinsurance.

Effective 8/1/12, for new business or upon renewal, Aetna will be changing their Specialty Rx component from the current 10% coinsurance level to a flat $250 copay for a 30 day supply.
